Thiruvananthapuram: BJP is ready to change the political history of Kerala and a BJP Chief Minister will come to power in the state in 2026, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said. He was addressing the people's representatives of BJP and NDA in Thiruvananthapuram. He said that the historic victory in Thiruvananthapuram Corporation in the local body elections is a sign that Kerala is changing.
Amit Shah fulfilled his promise that if the BJP mayor comes to Thiruvananthapuram Corporation, he will visit the Padmanabhaswamy temple. He clarified that with the blessings of the Lord, big changes have begun in Kerala.
Soaring vote share: He pointed out that the BJP's vote share has been increasing in every election. It was 11 percent in 2014 and increased to 20 percent in 2024. It will be increased to 40 percent in 2026 He encouraged the workers that the goal is to seize power. He gave examples of big successes from small beginnings in other states.
New path of development: He said that Kerala is currently moving forward only depending on the income of the diaspora, and only Narendra Modi can bring real development and industrial revolution in Kerala.
Strong positions: * National security: He reminded that the left and right fronts are afraid to confront communal forces and anti-national movements and only the BJP can ensure a safe Kerala.
Protection of faith: The BJP will always be at the forefront to protect the rights of believers. He clarified that the Modi government is committed to ensuring justice to Christian and Hindu families in disputes over Waqf land.
Against appeasement politics: Amit Shah strongly criticized the appeasement politics being carried out by the LDF and the UDF. He expressed confidence that the BJP's policy is justice for all and appeasement for none, and the people of Kerala will accept this with open arms.
